BRIEF HISTORY
OF THE COMPANY
JAD Corporation of America is a third generation,
privately owned corporation, founded in
Jackson Heights, NY in 1967.
In 1977, JAD relocated to College Point,
Queens to allow for expansion and central
location for shipping to all boroughs.
In 1988, continued growth lead to construction
of the current facility in College Point,
warehouse and HQ office operations.
In 1992, American Bulb Corporation was
created, a franchisee for GE, Sylvania and
Philips, servicing major real estate developers
and electrical contractors.
In 2000, JAD opened its state-of-the-art
on-site customer training facility, offering
continuous seminars - specializing in all
aspect of building maintenance.
In 2004, JAD Communication & Safety
Systems was created to provide state-of-the
art emergency response technologies to government
agencies and residential and commercial
property owners.
The Company is the distributor of niche
products that enhance personal and building
safety, in case of an emergency. Customers
include first response organizations, real
estate building management companies and
individuals seeking specific protective
products.

continues the company's reputation of dedication
to service and total customer care. JAD's
commitment extends beyond selling products;
we provide solutions.
