In 2010, JAD completed the installation of a state-of-the-art photovoltaic (solar energy) system on the roofs of its buildings. Because JAD occupies a significant amount of warehouse and corporate space, the solar panel system is able to produce enough energy to cover JAD's energy needs. This major undertaking has allowed JAD to dramatically reduce its carbon footprint. It is part of a continuing effort to make JAD as environmentally responsible as possible.
